Dr. Walaa Al-Smadi

Walaa Younes AL-Smadi  is Director of International Projects Office in National University College of Technology (NUCT), as well as an assistant professor in the department of Mechanical Engineering at National University College of Technology (NUCT), Jordan. She was born in Irbid, Jordan, in 1988. Her research interests include smart cities and its applications, optical channel performance monitoring and optical communication networks. She has achieved promising improvements in network convergence of optical internet, energy management, and internet of things (IoT). Her research is very important for enabling smart cities and smart buildings. She has published two articles in highly ranked SCI Journals and several conference papers in international avenues.
