Mutaz M. Hamdan is an Assistant Professor and Head of the Department of Mechanical Engineering at the National University College of Technology (NUCT), Amman, Jordan. He received his Bachelor of Engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering Branch (Honors) from Palestine Polytechnic University, Hebron, Palestine, in 2006. He obtained M. Sc. and Ph.D. in Systems and Control Engineering from King Fahd University for Petroleum and Minerals (KFUPM), Dhahran, Saudi Arabia, in 2012 and 2019, respectively. He was a Post Doctorate Fellow at KFUPM from 2020 to 2021. He was an Adjunct Assistant Professor in the Mechatronics Engineering Department at the University of Jordan, Amman, Jordan February to July 2022. His research interests include robotics, cyber-physical systems, networked and wireless control systems, and secure control systems. Dr. Hamdan has 16 publications in referred Journals and 2 US patents, and he is a co-author of a book related to cyber-physical power systems.
